My nominee would be Jason Patrick. Ive recently seen a couple of films with him in, three actually. The first was Rush, which is based on a true story about about two under cover cops who both become addicted to the drugs they are trying to keep off the streets. The second was narc where once again Patric plays an ex narc who is brought in for a specific case. At first I thought the guy must be a one trick pony but although similar roles in many ways the two characters are worlds apart and he plays both of them with a gritty realism. The third film is called friends and neighbors I think, I was a little jazzed on some primo weed at the time. Patric plays a real low life character and there is a scene with two other friends in a steam room where he goes into detail about a male rape he was involved in. The guys performance is like a train wreck, sickening but hypnotic. In my opinion the guy is one hell of an actor who has somehow remained under the radar.

OMG!!!! the concert is tonight, but i waited outside the tour bus and he was cool as hell and besides pics, gave me an autograph. you have no idea how much his music and lyrics have meant to me over the last 18 years that i've been a fan. skinny puppy changed my life and this is his solo project ohgr, his name is nivek ogre (kevin spelled backwards and not his real name, duh) but my god he is an idle of mine and i'm so very happy, this will be the best thanksgiving ever!
