Hey everyone,
We're doing some late Summer renovations at The Cult and one of the sections we would like to improve upon is our Book sections. We never had a great Quotes addition to each book section. Rather, I had to do outside links to other
Help understanding first printing dust jacket on Survivor...
I am trying to complete my collection of first/first chuck novels and I was wondering if anyone can confirm something I have read and seen in photos about Survivor.
Is the back flap of the dust jacket (the part that tucks into the hardcover book) blank on true first printings? The one I have contains an orange background with text and a head shot of Chuck. I have attached a photo for reference. If anyone can confirm this in writing or with a photo that would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Nebraska???
My question is this: Why did Adam and Tender wind up going back to the Creedish Church District? I had thought there plan was to go to Canada. Was there some symbolic reason for them going back to where all their problems began? Was there something there that Adam needed to show Tender, or was Tender supposed to do something to make himself an individual, someone free of the Creedish way of life? This is the only part of the plot I cant seem to understand (fully) and if anyone could help me out I'd really appreciate it.
Survivor (Vintage UK Edition): Question regarding errors in my copy.
My copy of Survivor seems to have lots of incomplete sentences in them. I was wondering are these misprints or possible deliberation by Chuck. I got a replacement but it is the same as before.
Example: Chapter 9, Page 44: ''I remember the winters were peaceful and''
It just ends the chapter like that and moves on to the next chapter. There are plenty of these in the book. It just seems odd.
Survivor- Psychology
I'm sorry if this is annoying/ seems a little dim...
This is my first year taking a psychology course and I love Survivor so I decided to make it the basis of my summer essay
I knew it'd be a good choice because it has a lot of psychological ties
But the essay need to be somewhat in depth as to what sort of psychological content is covered
I'm familiar with the book, but not so much psychology
So, I was just wondering if anyone could help
I've spent most of the paper so far talking about the effect of fame and media on Tender Branson and how he was led to suicide
But, I know there's more to be discussed and I was just hoping for some suggestions
Thank you

TRAILER
Hello.
My name is Thales Quadros, I'm brazilian and I study advertising and publicity. Well, I had to do a job for my course about SURVIVOR and I made something like a trailer. It's obvious that it covers much less than the book do, but the result become interesting, you should take a look.
First Edition Question
Hello!
I am new to the wonder of Chuck Palahniuk, but I am hooked. I read "Haunted" and thought it was terrific. That experience put me on a quest to acquire all of Chuck's books. My question is this: Can anyone tell me why "Survivor" is so difficult to find as a first edition hardcover? On Ebay they usually sell for over $100 so I figure there must be a reason. Thanks for your help!
