holy shit conkers bad fur day is awesome. its so funny. that game kicks ass. i found it a little irritating at times, like a little too difficult, especially the last level and boss. there's a new one coming out isn't there?

half-life 2.
well, it's on pause right now. i beat the single player missions, and i am the suxx0r at Counter-Strike: Source, so i'm falling back on good old Diablo II to get my fix until the half-life mod Day Of Defeat is released for HL2 ("source"), with the updated graphics and all.

I'm in the middle of unpacking things at home and ran across my old boxes for Master of Orion and Rise of the Dragon. I miss the DOS days.

Nowadays I mostly stick to CS:Source. It all depends on whether or not I can find a server with low ping for me and a decent rotation of maps.

ah, yes, emulators.
i used to be heavily into these, i still have a cd filled with every genesis, snes and nes one i could ever find.
romnation does kick ass, but here's a better way: use p2p. search for snes or whatever you want on limewire, iMesh, whatever, and you'll find zip files with names like "10 snes emulators and 1000 snes games".
these zip files work.
unzip them and kiss your free time for the next eight months goodbye.

if a Rom doesn't work, try it on a different emulator.
it took me three different ROM downloads to get one working that i really wanted to play.

I didn't know shit about soccer when I bought FIFA and now I love the game. Hopefully same goes for:

I only get 5 minutes here and there to play, so I'm pretty limited. No RPGs or GTAs or even a PS2 for me anymore.

I really think it is; it's also the first game I bought. Everything's translated from the console down to the best quality possible. The gameplay is smooth, other than the layout of the freestyle controls, which you have to use the nub for. You can get it down okay, but it's still a pain. Other than that it's all gravy. Career mode isn't an option, but there are season modes and a Challenge Mode where you have to make a comeback or win by a blowout with a certain amount of time. That's fun. Plus, with the simulating of games, you can pick the visual sim -- which I thoroughly enjoy -- like the consoles, or you can just do a quick sim (a PSP only feature and a cool one.) I highly suggest.

Pro Evolution soccer is so much better than FIFA it's comical.

FEDEROV - you've got to make the step up if you want a game that's more like football and less like pinball (but still as much fun, dagnammit).

I'm playing Championship Manager Online, but not much else.
