Real Fight Club In Union Square, NY!?

Apologies, as this news is now old.  Though I didn't see too many people discussing it here on The Cult.  My buddy Josh sent it my way.

It seems there was a real live fight club going on, right in the center of Union Sqaure in NYC late May.

The cops ended up stopping it, but still... this is wild.

What a couple of pussies!!! 

I have never witnessed anything so pathetic.

I've sparred wtih friends in parking lots before Fight Club even came out and we were going at it. 

These guys looked like they were trying to have sex with each other.

Sad.

If you're going to fight... even with friends.... punch like you got a pair, not like you just picked up your panties from the cleaners.

They do it all the time down there, a bunch of the guys I know from a martial arts forum know a bunch of the guys that frequent the place.

That's better. It's more boxing sparring than real fighting, but at least they're taking it seriously. They could have shortened the pep talks in the beginning.

Fight Club like fights aren't going to surface on youtube because anything that raw isn't being filmed and is not done in overt public. And of course the film had them going a bit further than most would take them in real life.
