The Mail Man Always Rings Twice

This group is for all of us that enjoy getting packages and snail  mail. We will participate in Secret Santas, CD swaps, Postcards and many other holiday and just plain fun mailings! Anyone can join, but I ask that if you sign up for a certain swap or whatever, please follow through. If it is impossible for you to follow through with something due to family emergency, or any other major cause, please just keep in contact with me or whoever is running the certain swap.  Devotion is very important, but communication is key. Let's start mailing some fun stuff!

Ok, so lets do this. Everyone who is interested say so in this thread. On the 26th, I will take whoever has signed up here, and pair you with a person of the opposite sex, hopfully. I will post the pairs on here, and you will see who you have. For example, Elegantly_Bitter <--> LeHaHi. We'd see that posted, and we'd know who we're sending to. Then you PM your person, swap addresses, and make that person a very special homemade Valentine's card. I'll post up the list on the 26th sometime. Sign up my babies!

Ok, so here's the second attempt at this group. The first one, Kirk and I had some troubles transfering the admin powers to me. I recreated it, however. So, Join up, and we'll get some fun mailings going on! I have done Secret Santas for the past two years, and I would like to keep that job. However, anyone else can start a page about doing more mailings! We could do:

Postcards

Secret Santas

Secret Satans

Secret Santas in July

CD swaps

Paperback book swaps

Valentine Culties

and whatever else you guys can think of! Just post an idea in a thread, and people will come.

Oh, and cautionary word of warning to all you newcomers and veterans alike.

 

Don't you dare flake out on anyone, at anytime! I don't care what's come up in your life! I want complete devotion to anything you sign up to do in this group? Understood?

No, but seriously. Please try to stay loyal to things you said you'd do, but if circumstances arise, just drop the organizer a PM and explain. It's not a big deal.
