NEW SUPERMOD! JKabol has agreed to be a Supermod! kabol has been here for years and many know him as a Writer's Workshop mod (which he still is). Kabol is a long time member and a very loved and respected one at that. He's funny, helpful and a cool cat.
What do supermods do..well they are generally here to be helpful, keep the forums organized, diffuse situations and mediate. Oh, and have fun, posting! PM them if you have a question or someone is harassing you. Do not feel shy if you feel you are being unfairly treated! Do NOT PM them to delete your account or to complain about other members unless you have a serious complaint.
NEW CHAT MODS:
Please welcome essga11 and monkeywright as chat mods! I think you will all agree that they are awesome and will be fair in the chat. I know all the regular chatters respect and like them. Frank suggested them (and others that are still in SCHOOL) and I want to thank him for the recommendation.

Welcome aboard! I hope you guys like the mod lounge. Just make sure to never sit in the middle lazy boy right in front of the TV. That's my seat. It should be left open in case I come in and want to sit down. Also, if you guys want coffee, don't drink the stuff in here, it's bad. Go down the street for coffee.

hey, everyone. it's the friendly neighborhood kabol guy. meerk has (with den and frank's blessings) asked me to help around the boards. ive been a workshop mod since half into the first year of chuck's workshop. (back then, we technically had two separate workshops.) so i'm no stranger to helping out when a member is in need. now, it's just on bigger scale. and i get to read the threads about the changes and updates coming early in the new year (so that’s a perk).
id read about some shiftiness going on here and there over the years. mods changing member post outta fun and silliness, i think that's fucking stupid. i am not here under a parasitic capacity, i assure you. this place is fun and if it wasnt i would spend time here.
my goal to become a writer came to life here. my goal to replace writer with author is the next step. one of the reasons ive gotten to know so many of the members here--though i’m not a heavy poster--is because i come here regularly, and the reason i come here regularly is pretty strictly under the capacity of a striving writer, striving to learn how to write well. effectively well, or as it is in hopes and dreams and trial and error. so i spend a great deal of time here and so it is that ive been asked to help out around the house.
if you need anything, and you think you can use my help, always feel free to hit my pm. sometimes i lose time, though, lost on a thought and have to get into some file to find some story to insert some perfectly phrased line where it absolutely needs to be spliced and when i’m done with that little but necessary task i’d already forgotten what i was doing. In other words, if i’m flakey from time to time on a pm and don’t get back to you when i say i will, please hit me again. don’t be shy with pms. (i certainly wont be.)

Good choices all around, but for some reason I thought Mike was already a chat mod. Also, that's good to know cause I plan on being in college for the next 3-5.5 years depending on law school or not.
