did i forget the part in the book where he gets Joker-scars?
Anyways, good stuff, but anyone can make a gun stuffed in the mouth look cool. I'll wait to see some of the more mundane parts of the book before I say it's great.

If I remember correctly, it's not joker scars, but it is a hole in the side of his cheek that he gets at some point from fighting. I remember something about him having to plug it up when he had to drink coffee.

man, that's hella tight

i dont know how it goes with opted films and property conversions, but being that fight club was not only optioned, it was adopted to film and since that time has even transcended to the stage, so i cannot believe that your vision is out of the question. my only real question on the issue is, has the comic adaptation not been tried several hundred times (at least) by now ?

dont get me wrong: i love comic books and graphic novels and i havent heard of the book in graphic novel or comic format, but what amazes me that it hasnt hit that medium as of yet. i always assumed there was a reason, though..

who cares how many times it gets done...every thing in its own way is a repeat...Mr. B is on to something...he's got some mad comic skills and what better story to work with? but you are right, unless i missed something (which is more then possible)...i wonder why it isn't already a done deal, hmmm?

nice art!

Wow, your work is amazing. Especially the first one. The only thing is.... I have to tell you, you can't become a regular around here. I'm the resident amazing artist and I can't be having any competition. That being said, keep up the good work.

ahahahahaha, shit, i havent checked back in a while! missed all the great comments! thank you all for the kind words and support!
sorry to go quiet for so long, this is kind of my side project and "work" work got in my way for a bit.

anyways, i got good news,
FIGHT CLUB THE COMIC CHAPTER 1:::
please let me know what you think guys!

http://rapidshare.com/files/162136223/FIGHT_CLUB_CHAPTER_1.pdf

hope you enjoy reading it as much as i did making it.

as for jkabol and everyone else wondering, i got nothin for yah.
im not the smartest guy in the world when it comes to these things.
i usually have editors and publishers doing all the hard work and thinking for me. i just sit in my office and draw perdy pictures all night long.

the thing is, i dont like working in the mass market of comics all that much.
so every year i pick a book, or screen play or whatever that I would like to see as a comic book. and i just do it. for good or ill. pay or no pay. i dont consider this a job or anything, so i just let it go and see what comes of it.

i mean, all the publishers i know have reserves about the rights and fox studios ect.
but everyone i asked has told me to go with it regardless. i mean, i remember someone doing an invisable monsters comic on here at one point, and chuck never sued his pants off... wait, did he? i havent been around here in a while. what ever happened to that guys comic? i really did enjoy that by the way.

yeah, i dont know. im just hoping chuck enjoys were im going with this. and if he ever wants me to stop i will, you know? i dont really care if it gets published or not. im happy with it staying within a close knit group of fans who enjoy it for what it is,
just some lonely asshole drawing a book about another lonely asshole reaching out for friendship or a connection of any kind through "art".

"The big wet face settles down on top of my head, and I am lost inside. This is when I'd cry. Crying is
right at hand in the smothering dark, closed inside someone else, when you see how everything you can ever
accomplish will end up as trash.
Anything you're ever proud of will be thrown away.
And I'm lost inside.
This is as close as I've been to sleeping in almost a week.
This is how I met Marla Singer."

thanks for all the kind words guys, ill try to have chapter 2 done as soon as possible!
