The Pineapple Express
Yeah, I saw this a while ago, and I am super excited about it. It actually looks hilarious. I loved Knocked Up, but thought Superbad was just OK, and Forgetting Sarah Marshall also just OK, though less OK than Superbad. And I am excited about Seth Rogen's upcoming Kevin Smith film, "Zack and Miri make a Porno." This one, however, looks like it is going to bring Seth Rogen back to the top of the Comedic genre... though it is more like he is concretizing his current place there... and while Judd Apatow is not the main writer, he is one of them, and this looks like it will bring his stuff back on track...
The scene in this trailer at 2:09 is my favorite, I think.
For a whie, I was almost ashamed that I liked Harold & Kumar as much as I did. I almost gave it a 5 star rating on Netflix, which I almost never do for comedies, and since I didn't want to be associated with the type of people who normally would give H&K a five star rating, I broke down and gave it 4. But it was hysterical, I laughed all the way through, almost as much as I laughed during The Big Lewbowski and Office Space.
With that said, this looks okay. I liked Knocked Up enough, but I didn't see the other two, and this one is of a completely different genre than any of those movies, H&K included. It looks like it can be good, but they showed quite a bit of the plot in the trailer, which is usually a telling sign that they don't have much up their sleeve. I'll wait until it arrives on Netflix to see it.

This is my one concern. If it is funny enough, and doesnt pretend like it intends to give a real plot, it doenst need more plot... such as H&K... but if it tries to give an interesting plot but what we already saw is what we get, well, thats where it would fail
