Do we still have a cultie book club??

Hey Guys and gals, just wondering if we still had the book club, as unless I'm being totally blind or somthing here, I can't seem to find a recent book pick.

If somone could help clear this up I could be greatfull

I second that. I'm all for a book club. I've only participated once in the past, but I'm all for one coming up.

 

If we're making suggestions, I say Kockroach by Tyler Knox. Craig Clevenger gave it quite the nod on his MySpace blog. It's a retelling of The Metamorphisis, this time the roach turns into a human. Maybe we could make it a two-fer: The Metamorphis followed by Kockroach.

 

Any other ideas?

I know I know... Everybody wants the book club back.

And my excuse of waiting for things to get calmed down around here is a bit... old? 

I wish I could undo and make stickies.  That way I could get this thing going and get it organized right again. 

I do plan on bringing it back though.

As far as that book Kockroach - it sounds cool.  I'm going to have to look that one up.

i want this to happen. this is separate from Derek's monthly books discussion, no? correct me if i'm misunderstanding but here, you'll be putting up a book for reading within a certain time (say, a week) then you talk about it then move on to another book?

A book a month I think it was.  But if say.... you're a slow reader you could bump it whenever, not like you're gonna get jumped because you're slow.  Mostly because no one can find you.

It's a big state.... we could be wandering the same shopping center for days and never meet.  But I wouldn't risk it either, you should be really nice to me from now on.

How could I forget?  The one and only time that's ever happened, you don't forget that.  Also.... where IS Gumbyland?...... it it around six flags?   

Edit: We're not getting the polls back!?! What!?! I hope we do, no one wants to fucking count, that's what technology is for.

I didn't even know we didn't have polls... How the hell are we supposed to do this now?
