Cries Unheard -- While Children Kill: The Story of Mary Bell
I just started reading this. I was reading a Jim Thompson, but I had to put it down. Not because I wasn't enjoying it. I think I'm just going through a non-fiction phase right now. I haven't been writing any fiction lately, and now I'm not currently interested in reading it either. So I went in my basement library and found this book which I bought a while back after hearing it mentioned by the guy who wrote the novel The Curious Incident of the Dog at Nighttime (I think that was the title). So this book is about Mary Bell, who at age 11, killed a four year old and a three year old.
Oh, I'm also reading a textbook on molecular biology, but I think that would be a weird thing to discuss in this forum. But I'm really enjoying it! It's 1400 pages long, though, and it's slow, slow going. It's like climbing Mount Everest.
Okay, off to bed. I hope everyone had a happy Easter. I have work tomorrow. Ugh.
