It's the lack of confrontation on their part. A supervisor went around me to a different superior and had this person escalate a (I HEARD IN PASSING him say....blah blah blah) report, had me investigated for 48 hours without my knowledge,...Then the "escallated superior" says to me days later, we have been monitoring you for a while because "someone" said they heard you tell a client "_____" . After a 48 hour review of every call you made I couldn't find one example, but I want you to know, you handle difficult objections and situations very well..blah blah blah (Pat myself on the back)

Then, I find out it was the new supervisor who said it. I find this out because out of her own curiosity, she killed the cat. Next day, an email from a different superior. I'm not very happy with your performance..blah blah blah... WHAT?!? (This is coming from under the one that told me yesterday I'm doing such a great job...but still above the non confrontational rumor starter.. The rumor starter screened a call I took and rated it on a scale of 1 to 10. She gave me a low rating and is trying to stir up the pot. This may seem petty, ...it is in the big picture..but why single me out? ps: I am actually a decent human in work mode..
I'm venting, so don't fuck with my spelling or run on sentences. I do not normally have desires to retaliate over b.s. But this individual is a rat bitch with no leadership skills at all..
And is attempting to get me tossed. I want to make money, not friends, do my job, and go the fuck home. go out, have the time of my life and go to bed. I think I intimidate her because of my backround. She is "supervising" someone, who under different circumstances would have them processing paper and getting them coffee. I swear to god, I have played my part and allowed her to do her job to the best of her ability without interference and only told you that, so you can understand where I think her mind is. I produce 1/3rd of her entire teams revenue. She has a team of 20+ people. I help a lot of people on my team. Why would someone want to sabatoge their own team like that? Hence, help..

Could you do the reverse on her? Go to the supervisor who told you you were doing well and say something like... you know- maybe so and so got the person wrong because I just heard nasty bitch say such and such to her client. I dont mean to be a rat you know but it would be best to get this sorted out blah blah blah.

Now that I know the situation better, yes, your coworker does sound like a bitch. Chances are she will succeed in making herself look bad eventually. If she's an expert duplicitous provocateur, then I would advise some retaliation along the line of what Nate suggested lol. Or leave a real, dead mouse in the place of her computer mouse.

If you're responsible for 1/3 of the teams revenue, you have nothing to worry about, as long as the people higher in the chain of command know. Make sure they know. Give them a report of your performance.
