Hey cboyle, Welcome to the cult.

The Forum button on the very top of the page will give you a rundown of all the sections in the new Forums, it might be a good place to start to get a feel for the new site.

The new site can be a bit slow at times, so when submitting a thread or post, just click the button once and wait.  Otherwise it re-submits your post, making duplicate threads. I deleted those, and also am moving this to the appropriate section (The New Users, How Do I Questions section). When creating a thread there's a 'Forums' dropdown menu that gives you the options of which section you want to post your thread in.
