Looking for one of Palahniuk's short stories

It could have possibly just been a simple quote as well. It was about how Palahniuk went to some crappy diner and ordered the chicken, but the food was so bad he couldn't eat it so he asked for his money back. The diner refused his refund so he started throwing chicken around the restaurant while yelling something along the lines of "You can suck this shit out of my ass!" There may have been something about a scuffle with a fry cook, but that part I could just be making up.

I'm almost positive I read this story or quote here on The Cult back in 2000.

If anyone knows what I am talking about and where to read it please let me know, thanks!

i remember this site from 2000, right around the time the marshal mathers lp came out
but i didnt spend much time here and i dont remember any of that..

the first story i heard of chuck here was that he was at a diner and the waiter and the manager kept asking him if fight club was real, and where it really was ("No really. I'm cool, I wont tell anyone. I just wanna know.")

I think he's talking about one of the cacophony society pranks.

No idea. Maybe you're confusing him with Anthony Bourdain?

i remember him saying how he got the idea for fight club by getting into a fight one weekend and coming into work with a black eye and no one even acknowledging he had it. Maybe that was the fight he got into?

I'm not sure about that. To my knowledge the fight that inspired Fight Club took place at a camping site, and I'm not even sure he and the cook did get into a fight. Throwing the food around and yelling about sucking better shit out of his ass I do remember.
